Roxbury - Arthur E. Patrie, 79, of Canwell Hill Rd in Roxbury passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at his residence surrounded by loving family.
He was born in Rumford, Maine a son of Arthur J. and Aline (Hebert) Patrie.
Arthur proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Valley Forge.
He was employed for 42 years with the Rumford Paper Mill and was a member or their 25 and 40-year clubs. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Elks Club.

He was born in Rumford, Maine a son of Arthur J. and Aline (Hebert) Patrie.
Arthur proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Valley Forge.
He was employed for 42 years with the Rumford Paper Mill and was a member or their 25 and 40-year clubs. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Elks Club.
Arthur loved his family and they took many cruises to Alaska, the Bahamas, the Panama Canal, Hawaii and Australia.
He also loved hunting, fishing, bowling, tennis, golf, and watching the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
Surviving are his children, Naomi Patrie and wife Donna of Roxbury, Douglas K. Patrie of Rumford, and Lisa C. Patrie of Mexico; a sister, Pauline Renfroe and husband Wayne of Sidney, ME; a brother, Gerard Patrie and wife Fern of Worthley Pond; a grandson Joshua Patrie and wife Kathleen; two great grandchildren, Carrick Patrie and Acacia Patrie; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Mary, and a daughter, Michelle A Patrie.
